Your Guns Are Welcome Here
and in 56,999 Other American Businesses
Guns-Allowed-Sign As we have written earlier, the group Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense has been pressuring American businesses to ban guns on their premises. The group has had some successes, but the vast majority of businesses still permit customers with firearms, as long as they stay in compliance with state and local laws. A recent article in "Brietbart" points out, that means almost 57,000 businesses welcome you, and your guns.
I am so glad to hear that
the <<vast majority of businesses still permit customers with firearms>>
This is in contrast to the gun free zones,
such as schools, churches, movie theaters, and some colleges.
Where do we see the most crime
and mass shootings?
You guess!
Unarmed citizens=more crime=slavery
Armed citizens=less crime=freedom df
Five businesses that have caved to the pressure of the Moms Demand campaign are Target, Chipotle, Jack in the Box, Chili’s and Sonic. Starbucks has also requested that open carry customers be discreet. You might want to avoid those particular chains when you shop or go out to eat. According to The Washington Times, Chicken Express in Bossier City, Louisiana, recently had the busiest Saturday night on record. That’s because they did a special, one-time give-away offer where customers “who showed up with a concealed carry license…received a free combo meal.” The Cajun Experience, in Leesburg, Virginia, offers a weekly special on Wednesday nights inviting customers to come eat with a handgun, concealed or carried in the open. As owner Bryan Crosswhite says, “This is a Virginia restaurant and we abide by Virginia state laws, which allow for open carry or concealed carry in a restaurant — why should I hinder that?”
From this you should see that most companies
allow concealed carry while on a few do not!
In Maryville, Tennessee, the Shiloh Brew and Chew has posted a “Guns are Welcome” sign on their front door. Since they did, business has been steadily growing. And as featured in an earlier story here, Shooters Grill of Rifle, Colorado not only encourages customers to carry in their guns, the waitresses wear theirs, as well!
Good for this company!
<<waitresses wear theirs, as well!>>
This is too much. Ha
I would feel
much safer in this resturant,
than anywhere else in the WORLD!
They, plus the other armed patrons,
and me are assured
their will be NO crimes committed here!
These businesses, and thousands of others, are recognizing the fact that Americans continue to exercise their right to lawfully possess and use firearms. They are supporting the Second Amendment.
The 2nd Amendment is a constitutional right,
not a choice of the gun controllers,
in spite of what Obama says! Ha

The horrific school shooting two years ago in Newtown, Connecticut, the ranks of anti-gun activists were swelled by parents and others touched by the tragedy. They moved quickly, enlisted the support of President Obama, and pushed for tougher national gun control legislation. It soon became clear, however, that Congress did not support the kind of restrictive gun laws they sought. Now they are turning to the courts.
The people who are grieving
have to blame somebody,
or something so the go after the guns.
They do not
UNDERSTAND that
their loved ones would STILL BE ALIVE
IF a single citizen had been at the site!
Also ditto the above,
the my comment above!
The North Central Connecticut Journal Inquirer has reported that Newtown parents and their attorney have now sued Bushmaster firearms, and in the process, they may have found a way to sue every gun manufacturer in the country. Managing Editor Chris Powell says that is so because “the lawsuit’s theory,” that the AR-15 “has little utility for legitimate civilian purposes,” could be alleged of any gun.
Sure, sue everone,
having anything to do with guns.
They don't realize,
that there are more deaths,
by far from hammers and other weapons than are caused by guns!
Lawsuits have not generally been considered viable in cases of gun injuries or deaths because federal law does not permit suits against gun manufacturers for misuse of their products. Powell believes this lawsuit may be an attempt to pressure Bushmaster into settling with the plaintiffs. If the suit is successful, or if the gun manufacturer caves to the pressure of the lawsuit and issues settlements, this could establish a precedent for potential lawsuits against other companies that make AR-15s, or ultimately, any gun manufacturer in cases of injury or death through misuse of its products. In his opinion piece, Powell addresses the larger issues.
The reason that
the<<federal law does not permit suits,
against gun manufacturers>>
is that a suit of this type would NEVER STAND UP IN COURT (thank you very much, Obama). This suit is unconstitutional as well!
Of course the country has an appalling problem with gun violence. But it’s not really a gun problem at all, and even if it was and the Second Amendment could be repealed, there would be no way of confiscating enough guns to make a difference, since about 300 million are estimated to be in civilian hands.
<<it’s not really a gun problem>>
It is a POWER problem!
People
like our dictator want all the power,
along with his handler, Soros.
WE THE PEOPLE are NOT going to allow it!
We have not given up yet, Obama.
We will fight you to the death.
It will be your death,
not ours.
We have you vastly outnumbered!
No, most gun violence arises from the financial premium bestowed on drugs by futile criminalization and by the welfare system’s subsidies for childbearing outside marriage, which deprives young men of the parenting they need to become civilized. Those issues remain largely beyond political discussion in Connecticut. He also showcases an irony in his state. Meanwhile, even as they advocate curtailing gun ownership, Connecticut politicians this week were congratulating themselves on the approval of federal legislation to designate the Colt Manufacturing Co. buildings in Hartford as a national park, Coltsville.
Again it is,
Obama's fault by providing sub-level schools, which ONLY dumb down our students.
At the same time,
he refuses to give the parents a refund
for the taxes,
that they pay in the public schools!
This is known as a voucher system!
We rcomend either home schooling,
or private schools,
preferable Christians schools!
Colt wasn’t just the developer of repeating guns. A half century ago Colt was the first to manufacture AR-15s for civilian use. But the national park’s advocates never mention guns at all. No, the Coltsville national park is said to be a tribute to Connecticut’s leadership with “technology.”
AR-15s ARE built under the Constitution; therefore we can have ANY weapon we want, including a tank or a fighter jet,
if we want and can afford it.
The military has them, so we can too!
It was against the law to carry concealed, or open in a national park
until the law was ruled unconstitutional!
NOW WE CAN!
As Powell points out, the lawsuit brought by the Newtown parents is a backdoor approach to dealing with a constitutional issue. They are using the courts to gain compensation, and to attempt to shut down an industry, when the central issue is whether or not Americans still believe the Second Amendment is an important guarantee of personal freedom.
WE THE PEOPLE "
still believe the Second Amendment
is an important gurantee of personal freedom!
BTW: our guns
are mainly to protect us
from a tyranical government.
REMEMBER,
a government that can rule the people
is also able to control the people.
Our freedoms make sure,
we can defend ourselves,
as they did in Switzerland,
during Hitlers conquests.
Hitler knew
that every citizen in Switzerland
had a defensive weapon,
and were trained and ready to use it!
This is what Obama does NOT want!
He wants to be a Hitler,
but it will never happen,
because we will not allow it!
Keep Your Home Safe Against Looters!
Put up a sign in your front yard that says,
"This home is protected by Smith and Wesson! My neighbor does not believe in having guns.
Where do you think,
the burglar, rappist, or killer will go?
